About Us:
The Hopping Hare building dates back to 1902 and was originally a Manor House, even though it has had renovations through the years it still maintains some of the original character and features.
Fresh from major refurbishment, we invite you to experience Northamptons newest concept, where a contemporary and luxurious drinking scene meets traditional food favourites, with a modern twist right on your doorstep!!
Restaurant:
Whether you require a large spacious area or a cosy corner, you will feel relaxed and welcomed here at The Hopping Hare. Food is served: Monday to Friday food between 12.00 noon to 2.30pm, then 5.30 to 9.30pm and Saturday, Sunday food is served all day. We offer a Quality Menu, which caters for a wide variety of tastes. Compliment your meal with a choice from our excellent wine menu, if your not sure, ask a member of our staff for their recommendation. We also serve traditional cask ales.

The Hopping Hare has a number of local attractions including Althorpe House and Silverstone, home of the British Grand Prix, only 15 minutes by car away. A few minutes down the road and you are in the Northamptonshire Country side with ample ramble walks, fishing and Sail boating Lakes. Northampton Town centre is approximately 5 minutes by car with lots of high street stores and shopping malls.
We also have a local Go Kart track, which attracts all the budding Jenson Buttons on race weekends.
The Saints Rugby ground and Northampton town football club are both approximately 2 miles from the Hopping Hare. Towcester race course is about 10-15 minutes by car away.
We have Two Local Golf courses Brampton Heath and Overstone Park only a few minutes car Journey.
Parking & Trains:
We have ample car parking and an over flow car park across the road.
Northampton train station is a short taxi ride from the Hopping Hare about 2-3 miles.
The Hopping Hare runs a no under 10 policy at all times.
